By AMI News, Jesse Caplan Media, Media

In this Webinar, our panelists will be exploring the medical, legal and compliance challenges for individual practitioners and healthcare organizations in treating chronic pain and prescribing opioids, particularly during this COVID-19 pandemic.  We will be looking at these challenges from three different perspectives – from a physician who is an expert in opioid prescribing standard of care; from a licensed clinical social worker who has designed and conducted hundreds of physician competency evaluations and training programs; and from an attorney who has represented healthcare organizations and healthcare regulatory agencies.

Jesse Caplan is an attorney and Managing Director of Corporate Oversight for Affiliated Monitors.  Jesse has served as the General Counsel of the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services, as a partner with Epstein, Becker and Green, a national health care law firm, and as Chief Legal Counsel for an HMO.
