I hope 2017 is off to a great start and that perhaps we will have the opportunity to cross paths soon. I am pleased to announce that I will be in Prague April 2-5 for the SCCE European Compliance & Ethics Institute (ECEI) and speaking on the topic of “Building Effective E&C Programs Globally: The Value of Independent Assessments and Evaluation.” I will be joined by Tom Topolsky, President, International of Louis Berger. In this unique session, scheduled April 4 from 13:30 to 14:30, we’ll have both the Monitor and Monitored discuss the process, relationship and value of having a third-party assessment conducted of a company’s ethics and compliance posture before an ethical crisis occurs! Plus, we’ll explore the value that effective compliance, ethics, and risk management programs bring to global organizations.
I’m also pleased to announce that Affiliated Monitors, Inc. will be one of the Exhibitors at the ECEI, and that I’ll be joined in the exhibit area by Maria Astigarraga, CCEP-I and Iñigo Cisneros from AMI offices in Bilbao and Madrid, Spain.
