Former Booz Allen Hamilton Deputy General Counsel and Department of Justice Official to Serve as Managing Director, Corporate Compliance and Business Oversight.

BOSTON, September 25, 2020 — Affiliated Monitors, Inc. (“AMI”) today announced that Brenda K. Morris has joined the company as Managing Director, Corporate Compliance and Business Oversight.  Morris most recently served as Deputy General Counsel for Booz Allen Hamilton.

“Brenda brings her years of experience from prosecuting cases for the Department of Justice and New York County District Attorney Office through her work with one of the supreme government consulting businesses to the world of independent monitoring,” said Vincent L. DiCianni, Esq., President and Founder of AMI.  “Brenda’s experience and values will enhance AMI’s expertise in a wide range of governmental criminal, civil and regulatory actions and corporate assessments, particularly FCPA, Securities, and government contracting. Her approach to working with boards, government agencies and government contractors enhances AMI’s profile in each of these areas.”

In the public sector, Morris draws upon her years of experience as a Senior Executive Service litigator with the U.S. Department of Justice, Criminal Division, Public Integrity Section.  The Public Integrity Section is a distinctive unit responsible for the nationwide investigations and prosecution of white-collar public corruption.  Ms. Morris honed her courtroom skills in Manhattan during her tenure as an Assistant District Attorney at the New York County District Attorney’s Office where she conducted hundreds of investigations and secured dozens of trial victories.

In the private sector, Morris worked for 7 years as Deputy General Counsel at Booz Allen Hamilton (“Booz Allen”), a Fortune 500 Company providing professional services to government and commercial clients.  Ms. Morris served as a trusted advisor to C-level executives on sensitive government inquiries and civil litigation.  She joined Booz Allen to create the company’s first Business Investigations team within the Legal Department to conduct internal investigations, as well as provide risk mitigation and litigation management.
