The Spring Meeting is the preeminent gathering of competition and consumer protection professionals in the world. In 2018, more than 3,300 lawyers, economists, enforcers, and academics attended, from more than 60 countries. There is no better place than Spring, not only to learn from and engage with experienced practitioners about cutting edge issues but also to make new friends and reconnect with old ones from all over the world. Spring is always a whirlwind of educational activities and unparalleled networking opportunities, and this year promises to expand on that tradition with some new ideas.

This year, the conference will feature over 65 sessions over the course of three days, plus an array of lunches, dinners, and receptions for networking. We have strived to ensure that there is something for everyone, whether you are seeking the fundamentals (four sessions on the “fundamentals” of economics, competition, intellectual property, and consumer protection), hoping to enhance your practical skills (see our mock trial, mock data breach exercise, and two “views from the bench” sessions with federal judges), or want a “deep dive” into the latest issues. You will hear straight from the heads of more than two dozen enforcement authorities, from the Americas, Britain, Europe, Asia, and the Pacific Rim, including a special session with the head of the new Chinese competition authority.
