Affiliated Monitors Sponsors The Boston Bar Annual Meeting – Oct. 5

By 08/13/2017July 20th, 2020Archive

This event is one of the largest legal community gatherings of its kind and provides an opportunity for Boston Bar members, their friends & colleagues, as well as leaders from a variety of professional sectors throughout the Commonwealth to come together for an afternoon of inspiration and thought leadership focused on the law and the evolving landscape of the legal profession.

This year’s Annual Meeting will feature Piper Kerman, author of Orange is the New Black. Piper is an outspoken advocate of criminal justice reform. She has testified in the Senate on solitary confinement and treatment of women in prisons. Piper was also invited to speak at the Obama White House about the need to support and expand re-entry and employment programs nationwide. We are excited to host a speaker whose passion and work align so well with the Boston Bar mission.

Tickets are $150 per person* or $1,500 for a table of 10. Checks should be made payable to the Boston Bar Association. All ticket holders will be given assigned seats. Two or more people wishing to sit at the same table should order their tickets together.

*The discount rate for legal services lawyers, government lawyers, and law students is $75 per person.
