As a Senior Compliance and Monitoring Associate at Affiliated Monitors, Inc. (AMI), Tim Shannon has overseen compliance on matters involving corporate settlement agreements with state and federal agencies as well as health care licensure actions taken by state regulatory authorities. In the federal arena, he has monitored large utility providers on behalf of the Department of Justice and the Federal Communications Commission. He also manages and works on a number of settlement agreements between state Attorney General’s Office and health care organizations. Other cases involve government contractors facing violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, Service Contract Act, and violations of responsibility for corporate third-party due diligence.  His work with state licensure agencies most often entails monitorship of professionals returning to practice after allegations of unprofessional conduct.

Mr. Shannon has developed internal compliance programs for AMI’s corporate and healthcare clients, in addition to conducting independent monitoring and practice assessments.
