Prior to joining Affiliated Monitors in 2016, Ms. Cordy served as Executive Director of the Rhode Island Board of Pharmacy for 15 years, having previously worked as Board Inspector and public health planner for 16 years. She has worked with the Northeast Regional FDA/DEA Task Force on major investigations, and continues her relationship with these agencies in her new role at AMI. From 2010 to 2016, Ms. Cordy served as a consultant to the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy to review and evaluate standards for various accreditation programs such as Verified Accredited Wholesale Distributor (VAWD), and Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics and Supplies (DMEPOS), Verified Internet Pharmacy Program (VIPPS) and Community Pharmacy Program Accreditation (CPPA). She also performed on-site accreditation surveys at licensed pharmacies and distributors.

Ms. Cordy has performed numerous on-site surveys of wholesalers and distributors for VAWD and has extensive knowledge of federal and state rules governing Suspicious Order Monitoring (SOM) systems, compliance and adherence. Ms. Cordy has received rigorous training in the requirements of Title II – Drug Supply Chain Safety Act (DSCSA).
