Compliance & Monitoring Associate
Kevwe Odima is a Compliance & Monitoring Associate at Affiliated Monitors, Inc. In this role, Mr. Odima monitors compliance with conditions contained in Approvals or Settlement Agreements involving corporations. He also participates in proactive corporate ethics and compliance assessments.
Mr. Odima’s background in law and compliance traces to 2014, when he was admitted to the Nigerian Bar. Prior to joining Affiliated Monitors Inc., he was an Associate in S.P.A. Ajibade & Co., a commercial law firm based in Lagos, Nigeria, where he acted both as a litigator and a solicitor. As a litigator, Mr. Odima represented clients before various Nigerian courts, tribunals, and government agencies, including the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission. Mr. Odima’s practice as a solicitor was primarily in real estate and succession and involved matters including but not limited to due diligence in the acquisition and sale of real properties. Mr. Odima published several articles in this period about real estate issues.
While he was studying for his Master of Laws at Northeastern University, Mr. Odima interned at Affiliated Monitors. In addition to his earning his LL.M. from Northeastern, Mr. Odima holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the Delta State University, Abraka, Nigeria. He is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals through which he is a certified privacy professional (CPP), and he is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
