Affiliated Monitors offers independent competency assessments of healthcare practitioners at their worksites to address concerns about clinical skills and knowledge as well as reasoning skills, communication abilities, and documentation habits. The clinically based assessments are conducted by experienced, board-certified practitioners whose practices are held in high regard by their peers. The assessment tools include clinical interviews based on hypothetical and actual cases, chart reviews, and office or procedure based observations. Each assessment is uniquely tailored to address the questions raised by the referring organization.
When areas of deficiency are identified, Affiliated Monitors develops an individualized Applied Education Program. The Program allows the practitioner to address the deficiencies and to demonstrate application of clinical knowledge to direct patient care management. The Program may include other educational tools and methodologies, including topic-based discussions, over-the-shoulder practice reviews, chart reviews, and periodic re-assessments.
In addition to Competency Assessments, Affiliated Monitors offers two other types of assessments: Compliance Assessments and Ethics Evaluations.
